Case studies on Drinking Water Management in Gujarat, based on the work of the Pravah Network (in Gujarati language)

The following case studies on drinking water management, describe the efforts of Pravah and its partner organisations, in organising drinking water at the village level, along with rural communities of Gujarat. The work was supported by the Centre for Development Alternatives.

PRAVAH has established itself as a network and actively providing its services to the sector not only as a platform for the civil society institutions to debate, advocate and resolve issues that concern masses but also in capacity building of communities and voluntary organizations. Its goal is to initiate a movement in Gujarat for ensuring safe, adequate, sustainable and self reliant water supply for drinking and other domestic purposes to all, round the year, and from a gender perspective.
