Hi,
I am a resident of Someshwaranagara (Yelehanka new town), Bangalore. I have already built my house in a 30 by 40 site. Since the corporation water is not sufficient for a family of two, I am planning to dig a bore well.
My specific query is that there are 2 bore wells already in working condition at a distance of 40 ft and 50 ft from where I am planning to dig the bore well. Please suggest whether I will be able to get water if I dig bore well.
Second query is that I have got two different opinions from ground water surveyors, (one checked with the coconut method, and the other person with the meter) each suggesting different bore well points, although one of the points is common. Please suggest which point I should go for.
FYI, of the two bore wells I have mentioned, one is about 8 to 10 years old and may be somewhere around 250 to 300 ft. The other one is new which the corporation had dug about 2 years ago and it is about 500 ft deep, with about 3" water.
Please suggest.
