Hello,
I have two borewells dug at some 2 feet away at my place in Kalkere, Ramamurthy nagar. The first one had to be stopped due to some issues with the digging rod at 170 feet and went for a new point. The second point was dug up to 730 feet. Though there was only wetness noticed at 2 points, one at 330 feet and the other at 650 feet the borewell is now yielding 2000 – 3000 ltrs everyday. I have below questions now.
1) Is it possible to know if the current yield will be sustainable for the next 10 -15 years?
2) If water is tapped through rain water harvesting to the other borewell which is at 170 feet, would it help to sustain/improve the yield?
3) Any other suggestions to improve the yield
I would appreciate if you can answer my below queries. Thanking in advance.
Thanks,
Madhu.
