I am Pratik Patil, have just completed my Mechanical Engineering from Gogte Institute of Technology, Belgaum, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum. We are a group of 4 students namely Rajashekhar Sunadholi, Chaitanya Ginde, Jayram Kamath and myself. As a final year project we decided to design an fabricate a ground water drilling rig which is cost efficient, energy efficient and portable.
The primary source of energy for the drilling action is human power.We had participated recently in a National Level Project Competition organized by Quest Global company named Quest INGENIUM and we bagged the 2nd place. We wanted to take our innovation to various water-stricken villages, far-away places and hence solve the water crisis upto a certain extent.
So I kindly request you to guide us or infact include this project under your organisation,where we could improvise it further and provide water solutions throughout the country. Kindly request you to support us and guide us in order to make use of this new technology on a larger level an hence reach to large amount of people.
This project is a completely new concept and has never been done before.
