Our NGO – Mitra Holistic Health Society (MHHS) is registered with the Government of Andhra Pradesh and Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA) and with Ministry of Finance, Government of India under Tax exemption for the contributions it receives.
It is an initiation of some people who are thirsty to bring development to the needy poor irrespective of caste colour or religion. It is proposing many relief and developmental projects for the needy poor especially forest tribes living in Andhra Pradesh and Orissa borders. These areas are filled with thick forests and there are some pockets, where communication and conveyance does not exist even after 62 years of the independence of India. The people do not have basic facilities – food, shelter and clothing. The availability of livelihood is almost absence, hence the poor migrate to far off urban places like Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai and Delhi and other metropolitan cities. In this process they do not have stable life which results in illiteracy and absence of basic needs. The hospital facilities, water and sanitation facilities are unable to cater the needs of the poor.
The areas where we are concentrating is Andhra-Orissa Border areas, where small pockets of habitats are scattered over hills and forests and these people are suffering a lot from Drinking Water Problem. First before taking up any developmental programme we need to educate and provide drinking water facility
In this critical situation, we plan for developmental and relief programmes for the these needy people. In this connection, I would request you to join us and give us cooperation to solve out these perennial problems, where life is in danger.
