Dear All,
I have digged my borewell in 2006 with a depth of 280ft in Tiruchengode town area, Namakkal Dt, Tamilnadu. The usual depth of borewell in our area is in between 200 to 350ft. 4.5inch borewell is used with 20ft casing pipe.
The water found out 275ft and as per the driller ther water output is 2.5inch to 3inch and he refused to dig beyond 280ft and the reason he stated for this, he could not dig more due to more water coming out (May be his rig machine was not suitable).
To pump the water, I am using 1.5HP moter and1.5HP compressor set. I got suffcient water for my home. We used to switch ON the moter for an hour and three times a week.
Recently, the water output is reduced drastically and even after running an hour daily, we could not get the required water for our daily usage.
Water output from few other borewell also reduced in the same area. But most of the borewells are operating successfully.
My queries are,
1. Whether the water level is reduced really? If so, based on practical experience, people are saying that if no water is there in the borewell then compressor AIR will come out in the water tube. But in my case, neither water nor the AIR is coming out in the water tube. Will it happen due to any leakage in AIR tube inside the borewell?
2. If the water level is reduced really, can I dig further 100ft-150ft on the same borewell to get the sufficient water? The problem is we have constructed the building over the borewell and some driller says, they require minimum 12ft height to dig again. I have only 10ft height. Is there any possiblities to dig further without disturbing the building?
3. Where can I contact further to analyse the water level and to get the proper advice to proceed further?
Thanks and Regards.
