I am doing my M.Tech thesis on "Improvement of urban streams and its environs" with case area as Kukatpally nala. One of my objective is to address urban flooding in my case area. I have proposed strategies of providing infiltration trenches, green roofs and permeable paving. But, I don't know exactly how much water will be infiltrated through one infiltration trench of size 1smt and one Smt of green roof, if I know this I can practically show that this amount of water is getting controlled through these BMP's. Hyderabad soil is red sandy soil. Please suggest on this issue.
