Want to implement rainwater harvesting & groundwater recharge on farmland near Lonavala, Maharashtra - Need guidance

This is Devyani. I own a plot of land near Lonavala, Maharashtra. We do not have any ground water source or borewell. I would like to implement water harvesting and ground water recharge techniques to enable farming for 12 months - enough to sustain a family of 4. I seek your guidance and support in this regard.
