TDS of drinking water at home found to be 1007 - Should I go in for RO treatment or is there any other alternative?

Hi Team

I recently had tested the TDS level at my flat. TDS is showing as 1007. Would you suggest using a RO purfier for drinking water or do u suggest any alternative?
