TDS 718, pH - 7.43, hardness - 530, chlorides -1030, sulphate - 94, can this water be used to irrigate plants?

I have 26 acres of land in a hilly area, lot of plantation in Murbad Kalyan road, Varap Ulhasnagar. At least 5-6 borewell point have failed here inspite of going about 500 feet deep. Currently we have one borewell 220 feet with water.

This water is used for watering the plants, but they do not seem to be growing beyond 6 inches, whereas the same plants grow up to 3 feet during monsoon. We got the water test and were informed that the water is not potable but could be used to water plants. The results are listed below:

  • TDS organic - 128 mg/lit
  • TDS inorganic -  590 mg/lit 

Would like to know if this water can be used to water plants?
