Hi,
I live in Bangalore. Currently the tap water we get (Kaveri water) has a TDS level of 185. We buy packaged water which has TDS level of 10 ppm.
What kind of water purifier we should fix for tap water - Reverse Osmosis (RO) or UV or RO+UV? I have been told that if we go for only RO system, it will reduce the TDS below normal levels. But my understanding is that RO adds the required minerals to water. Is that correct ?
Please let me know if I should fix a water purifier or should I just continue to buy packaged water?
