We are constructing a house in 30x40 site at jail road, Bangalore.
We selected a drilling point on our own at North-East corner of the site.
2 ft from one side and 3 ft from another side so that borewell is not blocking any wall or water sump.
We started drilling and after 40 ft we hit the rock and placed Casing of 40 ft long. After this we started drilling the point and went upto 630 ft deep and finally hit the water. But this channel is connected with our neighbor’s borewell and we can see water coming out with force from that borewell upto 1st floor level so based on their request we stopped drilling.
So after hitting water we only drilling another 5 ft more. This is the main concern to us. Is it a correct way to stop after drilling only 5 ft more. What are the chances of we getting water since there is no storage below the water point.
Our driller also said he is getting air and can’t drill anything further. He also claimed we got 2 Inches of water. How true is his statement.
What Motor and Pump we can use for this depth. We are planning to keep the motor at 600 ft depth leaving 30 ft gap from motor to depth of the borewell.
Any advice from experts on our Borewell ?
