Sound of falling water continuously heard in new borewell - Does this indicate a leakage inside? What should be done?

We drilled a new borewell in our agri field, located near Coimbatore, TamilNadu. The first water point we got at around 70 feet and the second at around 150 feet and third water point around 350. And after that point, its was very difficult to drill further and we stopped at around 375 feet.
After a week now, we are still hearing the water falling noises inside the bore-well. So, I have the following doubts:

1. Will there be any leakages inside the borewell - the water falling sound is audible even after a weeks time?
2. Any idea on, till how much distance the water falling sound be audible inside the borewell?
3. Is there is a chance that the leakage is at the third point (around 350 feet) and the water falling sound will be audible?
4. If point 3 is the cause, then what should be done to save the bore-well?

Thanks,
