We, the alumni of a school in a village called Burakayalakota in Chittoor district Andra Pradesh are planning to setup a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant to provide good drinking water to the kids. We do have slightly high levels of fluoride in our ground water and hence the reason for the RO plant.
We heard mixed responses about installing a RO plant. On the negative note, RO plants are said to demineralise the water and it is harmful. Is that true? How bad is it against drinking fluoride water? Please let us know.
