I recently dug a bore well for my house (Sarjapur Road, Bangalore near Bellandur) and got the water around ~ 750 ft. We went for an additional 60ft to be on the safe side. The plot is surrounded by apartments which have bore wells around the same depth. I would like to know the ideal submersible pump for this type of situation and the ideal HP. Please recommend. If I go for a 5 HP pump, what would be the rough power consumption.
Also, some of the surrounding apartments closed some of their bores as the water was affected with some bacteria after a period of usage. Should I be worrying on that aspect? If so, are there any preventive measures like filterbeds or chlorination?
Please advise.
If I could get any leading brands of the submersible pumps and their price range that would be helpful too in deciding.
