I have drilled a bore well for domestic use during May 2012 through Khannan borewells. The bore was drilled for a total depth of 355 feet. Water was struck at 150, 220 and 280 feet. The bore driller insisted to stop drilling after 300 feet as there is enough water, but I insisted him to drill at least 350 feet and the same was done. I was advised to insert a 5” slotted pipe to prevent the bore getting covered by silt, but was not told that once the slotted pipe is inserted, there is no room to re-drill the bore. Now the water level during peak summer is 85 feet and is lasting for only 12mins. On approaching the bore drillers they refused to re-drill the bore. Please suggest me how can I re-drill the bore and increase the bore depth. Kindly suggest any alternatives to increase the water level if re-drilling is not possible.
