Dear Experts,
I am living in a buliding where the total no of flats are 8 (4+4). We have a bore well of 200 feet depth and a overhead water tank located at 30 feet height from the ground. We would like to replace our existing motor with the new one. None of us in the building has the necessary knowledge. I request the experts to throw some light on the following.
1. Type of motor to be fitted
2. We are running the present motor 6 times a day (9 hours) with duration of 90 minutes per run giving rest for 90 minutes between two runs.
3. Capacity of the overhead tank is 6000 Litres.
4. Total number of users in the building: 22.
5. Electricity suply: single phase
6. Preferrably a motor that gives less noise - please do mention type
7. Power and other related things to consider while buying
In the existing motor, we are not able to read any data from the label as it is very old and the surface is damaged. The only thing we know is that it is a compressor motor. We are running the present motor 6 times a day ( 9 hours) with duration of 90 minutes per run giving rest for 90 minutes between two runs. Any suggestion to buy a motor that will fill the tank in shorter duration or to reduce the motor running hours.
