Pumping yellowing water from borewell

Hi,

I live in a flat comprising of about nine houses. We live in Maduravoyal, Chennai. Due to scarcity of water from well, we dug 100 feet borewell pump in which water started flowing from 20 feet itself. Hose is set at 80 feet because of more dust particles and we pump water using 1HP jet pump from suguna. We installed iron remover to remove yellowishness of water recently. Now we store water in sump of about 8 feet height and pump the water to OHT using monoblock. Now the concern is we found way for yellowishness through iron remover, but airlocks happen frequently and it is dificult to prime frequently. Nearly 4 to 5 hours is needed to fill the sump at multiple intervals. For airlocks two different plumbers cleaned the bore hose by pulling it out to remove the dust and yellowishness from the footvalve. Again the problem continues. Now the plumber suggests that we should change the motor to submersible type after checking the flow of water in bore using compressor.

Can we go ahead with it. Will it be worth doing. Please answer.
