I installed v-guard submercible pump of 5hp and 8 stages and 240 feet of GI pipe. Borewll depth is 400 feet and water source I got at 150 feet.
Now pump is running half an hour and no water after for a moment and again which continues to show gaps. One of the technical guy from Jain irrigation system said that if I increase number of stage of the pump to 12 and extend GI pipe till 300 feet deep, we can get water continuous. I just want to make sure before spending some more money whether his claim is correct? Please give me your expert comment on this. Borewell person said that water is enough for 5 hp pump. I have no clue what he meant.
