Dear Sir/Madam
Trust this finds you well. My name is Rhea Soni and I study in Oberoi International School (IB), Maharashtra- India. I recently came across your site while researching for public sanitation in India and read about your contribution to the same cause.
It is indeed a matter of concern that in spite having such technological advancements, our people in rural areas lack basic necessities. Our group would like to seek your assistance in order to spread awareness about importance of toilets in our society.
Currently, we are making posters in school to inform students about this rising issue and also are visiting slums in Mumbai to interview women about the same. By the end of this project, our aim to educate students at OIS about this current event. 19th November is the World Toilet Day, a day to aid those who are suffering from this basic need and a significant day to be aware of how privileged we are. Nevertheless, we also have a few questions which we would like you to answer.
1. Can you give us ways to promote this day in our school? ( activities and posters )
2. What can we as responsible citizens do to help those who lack this necessity?
Our team would be happy to collaborating with you to gain knowledge on how to make this day a significant one and to do so, we would want your help and guidance on how to promote this day, especially to the youth. Kindly revert with your valuable feedback and comments it would mean a lot to have your support and help citizens of our country get their long standing needs of sanitation met.
Thanks
