I am Sateesh, we tried for borewell in Manjunath nagar, WOC Road, Bangalore. The borewell person drilled by using hydraulic rig up to 20 feet (upto 1st rock), 10" PVC (Nandi Pipe) casing pipe is done upto 20 feet. After that, they drilled for 60 feet (upto 2nd rock) and they found water and sand mixing, at last they decided that silt is found for 40 feet. They suggested that better to go for sloric (slow rig drilling) with 80 feet casing with MS pipe and they stopped the work. Please advice for silt, which one is good MS pipe or PVC pipe (good life)? Instead of slow rig, should I go for a new borewell?
