I leave in a Independent house in Nobo Nagar on BannerGhatta Road near Meenakshi temple.
We had rigged the bore well when we constructed the house in 2001, and the bore well was around 250+ feet.
After that till last year (2010), we used to pump water for about 25 mins in the morning around 7.00 AM, and 25 mins in evening around 4.00 PM. But suddenly this extraction went down around July first week in 2010. Day on day the wate pumping got reduced and by Aug it went down to something like 17 mins in the morning and 15 mins in the evening. Then again after the good rains in October, From November it got increased to something like 23 min the morning and 20 min the evening till first week of Feb. Again from start of last week, it has gone back to July 2010 state with day on day the water is getting reduced.
Our pump i think is Single phase and when the water is being drawn it shows amp usage being 5 AMP, and it goes to zero when the water is not getting pumped.
I stay in 30 * 5o site hence (1) Rain water harvesting is probably ruled out (2) There are surrounding houses, hence cannot thing putting another bore well
Is there is any other solution in increasing the water level out of the existing bore well?
