Dear Experts,
I am absolutely confused with inputs I get from A) Driller B) Plumbing consultant C) Pump vendors .
Please get me out of this utter confusion, I would rally appreciate if you could provide your insights as to, what is the best approach.
Requirement : We need water for 22 Apartments we have claculated as bare Minimum 22,000 LPD( 5 per unit x 22 x 100L per head)
2 Bore wells : 1st in SW and 2nd in NE
*Bore well 1-(Recommended by hdrologist) :
Drilled depth - 800 feet , water touch on - 150 & 335 feet ,Yield as per driller - 1.25 to 1.5 inch
Plumbing consultant inputs >>- 5.25lpm, Installion depth - 720 feet, Pump - 7.5 HP, 15 stages, 30lpm at 720 feet, 1.25 HDPE pipe
pump Vendors ->> 2500 lph ( as per performance chart) - 750 feet, Pump - 5 HP, 37 stages, 1.25 inch( outer dia) HDPE with rope or 1.25 inch(Column pipes)
->>3500 lph ( as per performance chart) - 750 feet, Pump - 5 HP, 50 stages, 1.5 inch( outer dia) HDPE with rope or 1.25 inch(Column pipes)
->> 4500 lph ( as per performance chart) - 750 feet, Pump - 7.5 HP, 45 stages, 1.5 inch without rope (column pipes)
driller recommendation ->> 3HP, 37 stage, 1.5 inch pipe
Bore well 2-(Recommended by coconut wala) :
Drilled depth - 900 feet , water touch on - 500 & 580 feet ,Yield as per driller - 0.5 to 0.75
~ driller recommensation ->> use compressor pump with , 0.5 to 0.75 inch pipe
Note : I understand that the HDPE is based on outer dia i.e if I need to get an internal dia of 1.25, I should use 1.5 inch pip, whereas on column pipes the internal dia is exact and hence for 1.25 inch i should procure 1.25 inch.
I am given to beleive that for HDPE you need rope and for column you don't need rope .
Thanks in advance for any inputs....
