We have more than 10 members staying in our house in Bangalore. We are facing water shortage. I am considering setting up sewage treatment for non-human usage, like flushing and gardening. I looking for per-built sewage recycling units possibly using MBBR or similar technology, which can handle small quantities, say about 1500 liters a day (1-2 m3/day), and which can be setup under ground in the car porch (we have no space) or on the roof top, with minimal noise and smell. I would like to know the cost of unit, installation charges, operating cost (electricity), plumbing/civil work requirements, sludge removal frequency and method, approximate output per unit volume of sewerage water.
