I am doing research as part of my studies regarding industrial wastewater treatment in India. I would like to know the following
- Is there a charge (fee) for the amount of COD in the industrial wastewater discharged by factories like paper mills, breweries etc. ?
- What is the regulation regarding COD levels in industrial wastewater in India?
- Are such regulations strict and do companies get fined for failing to meet those regulations?
