Hi,
I have been reading up on water that is wasted out of domestic RO systems and have found that for every litre of drinking water produced approximately 4 litres is wasted - ends up going down the drain. Is this a true fact/figure?
Can the water that is 'wasted' be used for something else - such as washing clothes, watering plants, be put in to fish tanks and swimming pools, etc ?
Can you please direct me to where I can find more information on this subject? Is there anything being done to educate people to change their behaviour and adopt a practice of recycling and reusing the waste water?
Thank you for your time. I would really appreciate any help on this matter.
Regards,
Timothy
