Hello,
The well in my land in Tamil Nadu is mostly dry through the summer months. I got a borewell drilled upto recently and found water at 45 feet.
This bore is about 100 feet away from the existing panchayat well which does not have good water.
The issue is the panchayat wants to dig a side bore to the existing well. I am worried if this will affect the water level in my borewell.
Would like to know if there are any regulations to dig a side bore and if this can be stopped.
