I have dug a borewell in my farm in Denkanikottai ,Tamil Nadu and we found water at 150 feet and went till 350 feet. I have also applied for a 3 phase connection. The land is at the end of the village and the distance between the last 3 phase connection to my land is around 250 meters. The Assistance Executive Engineer told me that since my land is the last point of 3 phase connection from the existing 3 phase connection there is a high chance of voltage dropping and 3 phase motors wont work in my land becuase of voltage issues. Like I mentioned, from the last 3 phase to mine we need at least 5 electricity poles to be put. I am not sure how true this is ? If someone can educate me on the same it will be great . Also I need to know if I am opting for single phase connection and since my water point is at 150 feet will it work effectively or not. If there are some specific brands that work well at 150 feet deep please do let me know.
