I am searching for monthly or annual discharge (river flow) data records for all of the gauging stations in India. From the Integrated Hydrological Data Book (CWC), (available here: http://www.cwc.nic.in/ISO_DATA_Bank/ISO_Home_Page.htm). I have obtained station data for approximately 340 stations to date (shown in the attached image), but these records are short (10 years) and located mostly south of the GBM river system. It appears that the CWC has 945 discharge stations, and I would like to obtain the remainder of the records.
I am using this data as part of a small-scale hydropower assessment for the whole of India, that will form part of a global assessment, similar to the wind power and solar power assessments that can be viewed on my firm's website (www.3tier.com). I also would use this data for academic research.
Is there any way other than the WISDOM online database (which is extremely cumbersome) to obtain any of this dataset? Any suggestions you can give would be quite helpful.
