Hi,
I have a farm land in Solur Hobli, Magadi Taluk with a area 2.5 acres. There is a main stream channel which passes through the farm. During rainy season's this channel is filled with water and is getting waste in my opinion. One good rain for 4 hours, and the water flows for a week. Would like to create a artificial pond around this water stream with a 100 ft depth hole in middle of the pond for water seepage to under ground water table and various other advantages. Do we have to take any prior approval for this artificial pond creation from Panchayat or any other government orgs? If yes, can you please explain the rules and regulations. Thanks.
