I stay in Bangalore in Whitefield area near Hoodi Circle. My name is Ramakrishna. We have 3 blocks in our building with each block having their individual borewell. I stay in A block. We have run out of water in our borewell but the other 2 blocks still have water in their borewell. Here are the depths of the borewells in the 3 blocks:
A Block - 545 feet
B Block - 750 feet
C Block - 675 feet
This is the reason why other blocks still have water. We are now deliberating getting a new borewell dug for our block. We will have to change the position of the borewell as the existing bore is at the backside and cant be drilled more because of the building. So we need to dig the new bore in the front side of the building. We are ready to dig till 1000ft this time as there are new buildings coming up with bores till 1000ft. I want to know if there is a way to test if water is available at the spot we are thinking to drill the borewell and if yes who does these in Bangalore and what is the probability that the results hold good. The entire exercise will cost us more than 2 lacs and so wanted to be doubly sure before doing this. Any help in this matter would be highly appreciated and also let me know if there is a beter alternative. Right now, we are buying tankers which is costing us Rs 1000 per day. Also, let me know the best borewell contractor in Bangalore.
