I am a resident of a society in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Our borewell was down in the first
week of Februaru due to column break and the motor was detached from the upper part of the
column. Currently the motor is stuck in the borewell. The contractor says that a new
borewell has to be dug. We are not sure if the motor is at the bottom or stuck in the
bore at a mid - postiion. The contractor also says that the casing is damaged and hence the
new borewell is the way to go.
Our society financial position is not so good, is there any option or solution so we can use the same borewell again.
If new borewell is the only solution please give some more information about new borewell. The people of our socieity don't know about the ground water and the borewell.
