I am looking for consultants/contractors to do a step drawdown test at our borewell, Arakere, Bannerghatta Road. I have understood, after a prelim inquiry, there isn't anybody who would do this with a submersible pump. AFPRO Bangalore unit has no more mobile equipment available. The state Mine & Geology dept has setups for a compressor based testing but only till 500 feet depth.
Ours is a 900 feet deep well, 6 inch. The water was struck at 540 feet, and we proceeded till 900 feet. The bore well contractor has provided a letter indicating 1.5 inch of water. But I wished to decide the yield and choose a suitable submersible pump. Some vendors were called and they suggested 5HP, 42 stage pumps, or a 4HP 50 stage pump.
Can some one provide me a contact of a person or agency in Bangalore who could do a drawdown test and suggest a pump for a fee?
