I am pursuing my Master's in Water Resources Engineering. I intend to do my thesis work on Leakage Detection in Pipelines. For this I have studied different methods like damping of fluid transients, inverse transient anlysis, cross correlation wave analysis etc. Could anyone suggest to me the scope of this area at present & the steps I should keep in mind so that I can do my thesis in a proper manner?
