While planning a "Zero Liquid Discharge" waste water system in some typical waste waters; we observed that operating cost (Rs.per cubic Meter) due to required quantity of chemicals and polishing technologies (to make treated waters suitable for reuse across process) is higher than the cost of water being sourced by such industries.
In such situation, we need to know the standard subsidies being considered by State Pollution Control Boards/CPCB;if any on the following:
1.The rate of Industrial water to such industry who is putting up ZLD system.
2. Std./Additional subsidies for an Imported components/systems involved in ZLD.
