This is my very first post to the IndiaWaterPortal. I am a student currently doing a Post Graduate Diploma in Visual Communication Design at Srishti, Bangalore. As part of our curriculum this semester we have a course with Mr. Vishwanath, "ZENRAINMAN".
I am currently working on furnishing a Photo Essay on the Persian Wheel. I visited Kolar which is 3.5 hours away from Bangalore. I will be uploading these images soon when I have enough content to post along with them. To view them for now, they are on the facebook group which I have created for our course in Srishti. This way you can also view other work being done and discussions on the group.

The history, Its evolution, Function and Its relevance today.
If anyone could help me with the same it would be invaluable to this Photo Essay that I would like to display with Information as well.
I need this information as soon as possible.
