I live in at Metukuppam, OMR, Chennai. I want to check if the water that is provided in my apartment complex is good for bathing and drinking purpose.
After moving here, for some days we got water (in the tap) that was a light brown in colour, and had a slight smell (I think the apartment people would have pumped ground water). Now rest of the days the water is not brown, but I am concerned as there is an acceleration in hair fall after moving here.
After looking through the site I know that I need to check the water at my location. What tests I need to do? Where I can test in Chennai? (I check with a company they said it will cost 1200 Rs to test the water and I need to provide them with I litre of water) What purification system should I install? (Every one is saying that RO is not good)
Any suggestions will be helpful. John C.
