I am from Rameswaram, where the water is salty - Can I drink locally packaged water or should I consume only reputed brands?

I am Ram from Rameswaram in south India, Here tap water is a little salty, so can I use local brand mineral water here or should I drink branded water like Kinley. I am afraid of my health. Please tell me.
