Effect of RWH on walls of a building in Bangalore,Karnataka - What should be the distance between RWH well and walls of the building?

Hello Sir,

I am construction new house and planning to have Rain water harvesting for my house.

Please let me know if there are some disadvantages if we dig a well near by building walls or does it impact the walls of the building ? If so, Please how far we need to dig the RWH well from the walls of the building.
