Hi Team,
We dug a borewell yesterday i.e. 30th March 2011 in Bangalore for household purpose, we went with Kannan Borewells and they sent us the divine experts.. Based on our requirements he suggested us 2 points in a site measuring 30*40.
There is small lake just behind our site, we hit water at 40feet, the worker told us that its the water from the lake, we went digging further and at about 90 Ft we saw the first source of water from the hardrocks, the soil was damp and we kept seeing the glimpses of water till 140 feet. After which we never saw water while digging but the soil was wet and there was no dust while digging. we went digging further till 450 feet but the soil color or type never changed which suggests that the rock was same from 90 feet to through out the well. After 450 feet the situation worsened as we only saw dust and wet soil disappered and we finally stopped at 540 feet.
Report from the bore well diggers
Hit water at 90 feet and the yielding is 1 inch.
Questions:
1. Is the successfull water storage or should we go for another point in the site?
2. How do you see the wet soil disappearing after 450 feet and only dust coming out of it?
3. Do you think it wa snecessary to further more deep to see if ther was a second source of water?
4. We are plannning to construct a duplex with cellar parking, will this water storage be sufficient for our house hold purpose?
Please suggest us if there are any solutions to make this a good water well. Any suggesstion would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
