Do we have to get permission from authorities before drilling a borewell in a residential plot in Udaipur, Rajasthan?

I have purchased one residential plot on which I wish to construct a house. On that plot we want to drill one borewell. Kindly inform whether we have to take any permission for borewell drilling or can we do this without any permission.
