The developer of our housing society has provided borewell. But unfortunately when we got the water tested, it is reported to be of no use. It was reported to have high biological contents. I do not have the exact report with me right now. But the water also smells very bad.
My question is, can we do anything with the borewell itself to remove this contamination? Like deepening the well or replacing the casing, Sealing the casing?
We are appointing someone for water treatment. But many of our members including me think that we should try and fix the issue at the root.
