I am a resident of Chennai and planning to build an individual house in Urapakkam near Tambaram.I am very much interested to know if there are any consultants who can help me design a grey water recycling system for my house.
The area of the plot is 1600 sqft [stilt +2]. Stilt will accommodate parking for one car and one two wheeler. Since it is located in town panchayat jurisdiction there is no provision for common sewerage. A septic tank, an underground potable water sump, bore well, rain harvested recharge pit and grey water recycling system is on my mind in the ground floor. The soil is clay.
1) The built up area of the house is going to be 1800 sqft [900 1st floor and 900 2nd floor]
2) Bathrooms – 4, kitchen – 1, utility/wash area - 1
3) House is planned for 6 occupants excluding guests
4) Planning to reuse the recycled water for gardening, flushing of toilets and washing cars/two wheelers if possible.
