Hello,
It is possible to counter fluoride contaminated borewell water by harvesting and using the rainwater. However, the need of the hour is to bring awareness among the suffering (fluoride-affected) people about this and encourage them to make use of pure rainwater. There is an urgent need to establish rain centers to guide people technically and to change their mind set about the usage of rainwater. In this regard, can the water community at large, including IWP, take some leadership in establishment of rain centers especially in areas that are severely fluoride affected?
