Dear Sirs,
It will be a great help to me if you could kindly arrange to send a few judgements/orders of the Supreme Court of India, enabling us to pursue a long pending wetland matter (Writ No.7428 of 2001) of Calcutta High Court.
The fact is that, a mass petition dated 17.05.2001 addressed to the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court was converted into Writ Petition as mentioned above. We had great hope that the matter will be disposed off in a short period of time and we will be in a position to stop rampant destruction of wetlands in Barrackpore sub-division, North 24-Parganas, West Bengal, particularly in Panihati, Khardah and Kamarhati municipal area. But our expectation went into the wind as the matter is still undecided till date.
