I had dug a borewell in my farm 2 years ago. Recently my pump stopped functioning and we removed the casing pipes. To our surprise, the casing pipes were rotten, swollen, rusted. The mechanic said that the water is hard and salty. But the taste of the water was okay.
Could you please enlighten me about whether this water can be used for agriculture. If its usable, then what type of casing pipes I should use? I had used Tata steel pipes.
