I have a borewell in my house. When the water is initially pumped, it is clear, but after a few minutes an oily residue is formed on the water surface and the water turns brownish. In addition, an iron colour coating is formed on the taps and the wash basins due to frequent use of this water.
Can you suggest the best possible option to purify the water from the main water tank?
