I just purchased a flat to settle down after retirement - a new construction. The area is at Kanakammal colony behind KCT Mahal at Nanganallur Chennai. The builder told us that there are two 300 feet borewells driven by 1.5 HP compressor pumps and there won't be any problem for water.
The two bore wells are separated by 35 feet. The size of the plot is only 75 feet X 50 Feet. But, we find that the supply of water is hardly for 15 mts @ about 7 to 10 LPM after which it drastically drops to may be to about 0.200 LPM. The other bore well gives just half the yield only. We have taken out the hose and physically checked that the depth is 300 feet by bore well mechanic. Is there any way to improve the yield? Will it be possible to increase the depth or can we go for a third bore well. Which agency in Chennai can guide us? Thanking you, Yours sincerely,
