I am living in Jakkur road opposite to GKVK, minutes drive from NH7 main road. Recently, a borewell drilling point was taken up with the identification from both geologist and diviner. Both showed the points in the same area with a difference of 2 feet the drilling was in the constructed house premises we had gone for slow rig , this rig drilled for 65 feet and discontinued because of clay soil then a slow rig with bentonite clay was adopted , they dug up to 94 feet and said they got rock and inserted the casings again the tripod rig was adopted.
This time they drilled up to 145 feet and at 145 feet again they encountered sandy clay soil and they said it was only boulder and not rock they removed the inner casing pipe and now 10'" outer casing exists. In this point, after 40 feet wet soil was obtained. Now we can see water below the casing level which has not reduced even after a month.
Now the driller has identified another point 12-15 away again by a geologist. The driller says in and around Hebbal, Jakkur and Yelahanka, they have got rock from 90 feet depth to 230 feet depth so he says there may be possibility. If it contains the structure same as old he says we may have to go for perforated casing pipe.
Now as you have experience about the different areas in Bangalore I request you to give me suggestions as I require water. In and around many bore wells have been successful in the radius of 100 to 200 feet and dry powder was let out surprisingly the first point had wet soil is it possible to solve the problem
