We have drilled a bore well for our agricultural land near Hyderabad. We dug a 425 feet borewell with a casing pipe (6kg special pipe of 133 feet) For that we have spent an amount of Rs.67,365. This drilling operation was done on 13-12-2011.
We have tried to insert the pump set on 21-12-2011 (i.e within a week time). But we could lower the pump set only up to 45 feet only. The pump technician has informed that the bore was filled with mud and the casing pipe might have broken.
When we contacted the driller he told us that he is not responsible for the same and has demanded another Rs.50,000/- for its rectification.
Kindly inform whether the responsibility of the driller ceases on completion of the drilling. It is also evident that while flushing the bore, huge noises and sounds were heard and when we pointed out about the sounds the operator, he has informed that it is common.
Kindly advise us on the manner in which we have to proceed against the drilling rig owner.
